Hello all,
My AP had a date of birth error. I mailed the AP and supporting docs back to TSC (along with a check which has already been cashed) 0n Feb 20th and am traveling to India in July.
Any ideas as to how long it takes at TSC to process AP? The USCIS website points to a November 17th processing date for I-131 as of Feb 15th.
Any ideas as to how to speed up the process ?

I'm about to start reading British native Simon Winchester's 2003 bestseller Krakatoa: The Day the World Exploded about the massive Indonesian volcano. I've always had a fascination with natural disasters all the way back to writing a junior high school research paper on hurricanes when I was growing up in Miami. I am having a hard time to write anything on the back of the photes as required. I know a softer pencil should do. But have to hunt down one in this computer age. Any other tricks? Thanks.

This is not the appropriate forum to ask your question as most of us here are still waiting to get green card even after waiting upwards of 7 years. Some still have 5 or more years ahead of them barring immigration reforms.

My PERM case has been pending for almost 15 months (under audit for 12 months). I asked my attorney about this enquiry thing that you can file to DOL after pending for 15 months (according to this thread (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=21183&page=2)). Her response is that she has been sending requests about case status to the DOL on a regular basis.
Can anyone who's familiar with the matter tell me what's this enquiry is about? Is it just a regular status check or a more formal and serious matter that DOL has to assign a freaking living human to look at your case to reply? :mad:

I had FP done way back in October 07..but there is no status change LUD on I-485..what to do??.:confused:..Do I take an appointment to talk to an officer or simply call USCIS ..

My details:
India/EB3/PD:Sep2003/I140 Approved.
I485/EAD/AP: Recevied July 28
I completed FP appointment last week (Wednesday), but LUD has not changed since then.
Also EAD status changed twice (before undergoing FP) it said Card Production Ordered. Today it changed to Approval Notice sent.
Questions:
1. Is there any relation between FP and EAD ? (e.g. Prints appear on EAD etc)
2. Is that the right sequence in change of status:
"Card Production Ordered" followed by "Approval Notice Sent".

My friend just forwarded me this link and it shows 1-jun-2006 priority date for EB2. For EB3 it still shows Unavailable. However US State website still shows old dates.

I have a question on visitor visa, please tell me is this legally okay or not
My parents got vistor visa (B1/B2) and planning to visit me,
my sister also got a visitor visa (B1/B2) through a company some time back. But she never visited US and later moved to another company.
All are 10 years multiple entry visas.
Is it okay that sister comes along with my parents? Is there a difference between company applied visitor visa and visitor visa that I sponsered.

I am working for a company who filed for my GC.
I-140 approved 18 months back
I-485 "applied and pending" 12 months back
EAD in hand from about 10 months.
If I move to a company with the exact same job description,
a) Whom do I need to inform, with regards to , AC21 portability clause
b) Who will check if the job is in the exact (same/similar) field
c)Possibility that there will be RFE after I-485?
d)What if the GC sponsoring company is not helpful after I move to a different company. How is this going to affect?
I need to weigh in the costs associated with countering a RFE and the increased salary due to job change.
Let me know your opinion.

Thats not an issue looks like. When you go for FP, just ask them to see if your name is correct in the system with you A number. Thats more important thatn the spelling on notice.

The big news is that the masters cap was hit as of December 24th. I had been predicting since last summer that this 20,000 quota would be hit in the last week of the year and the pace of usage stayed extremely consistent.
